The elimination of anthrax outbreaks is coming to an end in Kyrgyzstan
In Kyrgyzstan, work is nearing completion on the elimination of anthrax outbreaks. This was reported by the Director of the Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Service, Adilet Sotaldiev, at a meeting of the parliamentary committee dealing with agricultural policy, water resources, subsoil use, ecology, and environmental protection. According to Sotaldiev, an inventory was conducted this year, resulting in the identification of 567 anthrax outbreaks across the country.
