In Bishkek, a section of Chingiz Aitmatov Avenue has been opened for vehicle traffic.

The section of Chingiz Aitmatov Avenue from Semetey Street to Masaliev Avenue has become accessible for vehicles after the completion of the construction of four underground pedestrian crossings. This was reported by the press service of the capital's mayor's office.
Each of the new underground crossings is 33.5 meters long and 4 meters wide. Currently, finishing works are ongoing inside the crossings, and the construction of stairs is also underway.

At the request of the mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, the work was carried out during the holiday weekend to minimize traffic jams and reduce discomfort for the city's residents.
