Orozo Calendar 2026

The start of the sacred month for Muslims is expected to be on February 18. However, it is important to consider the possibility of the date shifting one day forward or backward. For this reason, the editorial team of Kaktus.media has created an Orozо calendar taking into account possible changes.

In the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan (ДУМК), it was clarified that more accurate information about the beginning of Orozо will be provided closer to the date of fasting.

in Naryn region - 6 minutes earlier;
in Karakol - 10 minutes earlier;
in Balykchy - 5 minutes earlier;
in Osh region - 12 minutes later;
in Chon-Alai - 17 minutes later;
in Jalal-Abad region - 15 minutes later;
in Toktogul - 10 minutes later;
in Batken region - 25 minutes later;
in Chatkal - 25 minutes later;
in Talas region - 8 minutes later.

Prayer said before the start of fasting

Nawai'tu an asooma sawma shahri ramazana min al-fajri ila al-maghribi, khalisan lillahi ta'ala.

Its meaning:

I intend to observe the obligatory fast from dawn until sunset, sincerely for the sake of the Almighty.

Prayer said before breaking the fast

Allahumma laka sumtu, wa bika aamantu, wa 'alayka tawakkaltu, wa 'ala rizqika-aftartu, fakfir li ma qaddamtu wa ma akhkhartu.

Meaning:

O Allah, I have fasted for You, I believe in You, I rely on You, and with Your sustenance, I break my fast. O Forgiving One, forgive me my sins, both past and future.
