At the new bird market in the city of Osh, bustling trade was in full swing — prices announced

In the new bird market of the city of Osh, more than 200 people gather daily, where various types of poultry and animals are sold.

According to the traders, the largest number of buyers comes on Sundays, as on this day most city residents visit the market to make purchases.

The prices at the market are as follows:

- turkey — from 3,000 to 4,500 soms;

- chicken — from 500 to 1,000 soms;

- rooster — from 900 to 3,000 soms;

- large (fighting) rooster — from 8,000 to 12,000 soms;

- rabbit — from 500 to 4,000 soms;

- pigeon — from 500 to 3,000 soms.

In addition, the market provides services for slaughtering and processing poultry: a chicken is processed for 100 soms, a turkey for 200 soms.
Previously, information was published on social networks that at the bird market in the city of Osh, poultry was being slaughtered and processed right on the site covered with garbage.

It later became known that the bird market, which is currently operating at the old central market of the city of Osh, is being relocated to a new area.

According to the city administration, the new bird market will be organized not far from the current location — on the territory where the livestock market was previously located. It is noted that all necessary conditions for sellers and buyers will be created at the new site, and sanitary requirements will be fully complied with.
