The Ministry of Agriculture urges farmers to choose quality and certified seeds
After the seeds are loaded into the reception pit, they are directed to the cleaning machine, where straw, debris, and large impurities are separated. Next, the seeds enter a drum, where they are cleaned of crushed and half grains. The final stage involves the use of an air flow to remove immature, empty, and light grains, resulting in only quality and clean seeds being delivered to the trailer.
"Certified seeds are a guarantee of the quality of the seed material," the message emphasizes.
Specialists from the Department of Agricultural Crop and Horticulture Expertise conduct field inspections, during which the varietal and species purity of the seed material, as well as the typicality of the plants and other important parameters, are checked. Laboratory studies using special methods allow for a complete analysis of the sowing qualities of the seeds: germination energy, germination rate, purity, moisture, weight of 1000 seeds, and other characteristics are assessed.
The Ministry also reported that for information on acquiring quality and certified seeds, one can contact the chief specialist of the seed certification department of the Department of Agricultural Crop and Horticulture Expertise, Aiperi Muratbekova, at +996 990 965 006.
