A section of Ch. Aitmatov Avenue opened for traffic in Bishkek
In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, today the section of Chyngyz Aitmatov Avenue, which runs from Semetey Street to A. Masaliev Avenue, was opened for vehicular traffic.
According to information provided by the city administration, four underground pedestrian crossings have been constructed on this section. Each of them is 33.5 meters long and 4 meters wide.
Currently, finishing works are ongoing inside these crossings, and the construction of staircases is also underway.
It should be noted that the works were carried out on the orders of the mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, during the festive holidays to reduce traffic load and minimize inconvenience for the residents.
