The Turkic Week with the participation of CIS countries will take place in Vienna

From January 12 to 15, the Turkic Week will take place in the Austrian capital, Vienna, featuring countries that are part of the Organization of Turkic States, as well as international organizations, diplomats, and representatives of the Turkic diaspora. This information was announced by the organizers.

The ceremonial opening of the program will begin with a photo exhibition titled "The Turkic World on the Silk Road," which will be held at the Vienna office of the UN. This exhibition was organized in collaboration with the OTS and the Turkic Academy and aims to highlight the common historical and cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples and their significance in establishing global connections.

One of the central events will be a high-level roundtable titled "From the Silk Road to the Middle Corridor: Promoting Connectivity through Transport and Trade," which will take place at the Hofburg at the OSCE venue. Participants will discuss important issues related to transport connectivity, trade support, and the significance of East-West routes.

As part of the Turkic Week, there will also be a program aimed at strengthening the potential of Turkic diasporas in Europe, focusing on developing coordination and institutional ties. Additionally, a gala concert featuring renowned artists from Turkic countries is planned.

It has also been announced that the Secretary-General of the OTS will hold a series of bilateral meetings in Vienna with leaders of international organizations and partner structures.

The Turkic Week is expected to become an important platform for promoting cultural initiatives and strategic projects of the Turkic world in a multilateral format.
