Due to severe frosts, schools in the Ak-Talinsky district have switched to remote learning
Due to a sharp drop in temperature, schools in the Ak-Tal district of the Naryn region have been switched to remote learning for a period of one week. The deputy akim of the district, Kanaybek Esenaliev, reported this to the Kabar agency.
He noted that this decision was made during a meeting of the operational headquarters to ensure the health and safety of students.
“The district is experiencing severe frosts. In the morning, the temperature drops to -30…-35°C. Some students have to travel up to two kilometers from remote settlements to reach school by 7-8 in the morning. Therefore, it was decided to switch to remote learning for one week,” Esenaliev added.
