The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reports a tragic incident involving a citizen of Kyrgyzstan in the St. George's Bay area in Malta.
After receiving information about her death from the Maltese authorities, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Italy immediately began cooperating with local authorities to organize the necessary procedures for repatriating the body to the homeland. This process also involves compatriots who are in Malta.
Currently, the embassy is actively addressing issues related to the return of the deceased's body, providing comprehensive consular assistance, and maintaining communication with relatives, ensuring support throughout all necessary stages.
