In the first 10 months of 2025, vegetable imports from China increased by 70%

The National Statistical Committee reported a significant increase in vegetable imports from China, which rose by 70% in the first ten months of 2025. From January to October, Kyrgyzstan purchased 5,800 tons of vegetables from China, costing $5.6 million. Compared to the same period in 2024, when 3,400 tons were imported for $3 million, the physical volume of supplies has noticeably increased.
