A seven-year-old child died in a traffic accident near the "Chunkurchak" ski resort.

A tragic incident occurred on January 10 in the evening near the "Chunkurchak" ski resort, where a seven-year-old boy died as a result of a road accident. This was confirmed by the Interior Ministry of the Chui region.

According to law enforcement agencies, the driver of a BMW X7 lost control on the Bishkek — Chunkurchak highway. As a result, the car went off the road and fell into a ravine. The injured were promptly taken to medical facilities.

At the time of the accident, the driver's son was in the vehicle, who unfortunately passed away in the hospital. The driver himself sustained serious injuries and is currently undergoing inpatient treatment.
