AFC U-23 Cup: The match Kyrgyzstan - Jordan will be officiated by a referee from Bahrain

In the upcoming match between the youth national teams of Kyrgyzstan and Jordan in football, a referee from Bahrain will officiate.

This match, which will be part of the third round of the group stage of the Asian Cup (U-23), will take place on January 12 in Saudi Arabia. The main referee appointed is Ammar Mahfoudh from Bahrain.

This is already Mahfoudh's second match in this tournament. In the first round, he officiated the match between Korea and Iran, which ended in a 0:0 draw.

The referee from Bahrain has previously officiated two matches involving the national team of Kyrgyzstan. In the fall match of 2023, he was the referee in the game Malaysia - Kyrgyzstan (4:3), and in the spring of 2024 — in the game Kyrgyzstan - Chinese Taipei (5:1).
