The exchange rate of the Uzbek sum to the US dollar in 2026 is projected to be 12,800 (EADB forecast)

- According to the published macroeconomic forecast for 2026-2028 by the Eurasian Development Bank, the average exchange rate of the Uzbek som to the US dollar is expected to be 12,800 som per dollar in 2026.

For 2025, the EDB estimated the average annual exchange rate of the Uzbek som at 12,647 som per dollar.

The EDB emphasized that "remittances from labor migrants will continue to have a significant impact on compensating for the trade deficit and supporting the balance of payments."
