In 2025, 4.8 million educational and methodological complexes were published for schools in Kyrgyzstan.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Education, the year 2025 has become a landmark for the education system of Kyrgyzstan: the volume of printed educational and methodological complexes has reached record levels in recent years.

This year, 856 million 548 thousand 703 soms were allocated from the state budget for the publication of textbooks.

Over the past eight years, 3 million 742 thousand 461 textbooks have been printed, while in 2025, 4 million 85 thousand 450 educational and methodological complexes were released, which is 9.1% higher than the volumes of the previous eight years.

The Ministry of Education clarified that the publication of textbooks is carried out in accordance with a phased plan for updating materials across all subjects. This is related to the implementation of the Concept for transitioning to a 12-year school education, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers' resolution No. 654 dated October 30, 2024.
