Navigation seals in the EAEU will be launched on February 1, 2026

According to the decree, within the framework of the pilot project, navigation seals will be used for the transportation of timber materials from Russia to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

The project concerns the following categories:

• unprocessed or roughly edged timber - HS Code 4403 (except for 4403 11 000, 4403 12 000 1, 4403 12 000 2, 4403 12 000 3, 4403 21, 4403 22, 4403 23, 4403 24, 4403 25, 4403 26 000 0, 4403 94 000 0, 4403 99 000 1)

• wood for barrel production, as well as logs, piles, stakes, and posts, timber for making walking sticks, umbrellas, and tool handles, chips - HS Code 4404

• wooden sleepers intended for railway or tram tracks - HS Code 4406

• timber that has undergone longitudinal sawing or splitting and has a thickness of more than 6 millimeters - HS Code 4407
