EAEU must expand trade with the Global South, the Arab world, and Asia, - President of Kazakhstan Tokayev
By 2025, it is planned to sign Free Trade Agreements with Mongolia and Indonesia, as well as an Economic Partnership Agreement with the UAE, which is a tangible result of the joint efforts of the member countries and the Commission.
Tokayev also emphasized the importance of expanding the EAEU's ties with the nations of the Global South, the Arab world, Southeast Asia, and Africa, as well as with influential regional associations.
According to the President of Kazakhstan, economic integration is a key tool for creating new production facilities, modern jobs, implementing advanced technologies, and forming a free trade environment.
During its presidency, the Republic of Kazakhstan aims to fully support the achievement of these objectives.
"I am confident that only through joint efforts can we achieve the set goals and ensure the dynamic development of the economies of the EAEU member states, as well as strengthen the overall potential of our integration association," concluded Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
