In Kyrgyzstan, restrictions on the export of timber outside the EAEU have been extended for six months.
The authorities of Kyrgyzstan have approved a new decree regarding the ban on the export of timber and wood products outside the Eurasian Economic Union.
These restrictions will be temporary and will last for six months.
The ban covers the following categories of goods with HS codes:
• 4401 - fuel wood, wood chips, shavings, sawdust, and wood waste, including logs, briquettes, pellets, and pallets
• 4403 - unprocessed wood materials, both with and without bark, as well as logs and poles that may be roughly edged or unedged
• 4407 - wood materials that have been sawn or split along, planed or peeled, both unprocessed and processed by planing and sanding, with or without end joints and a thickness of more than 6 mm
