Fire in a nursing home. An emergency services employee hospitalized.

During the fire at the nursing home, Emergency Situations Officer Alymbek Keleshov displayed heroism, risking his life to save the residents. During the evacuation, he suffered from carbon monoxide poisoning and was taken to the hospital. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Despite the heavy smoke and high temperatures, Keleshov continued to carry people out of the fire. After the rescue operations were completed, he required medical assistance. His condition is currently stable.

We remind you that the fire occurred on January 6 in the palliative care ward of the nursing home. As a result of the incident, two severely ill residents died. According to the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, another 14 people were hospitalized.

In connection with the tragedy, a blood donation drive has been announced for the victims.

A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident, and the causes of the fire are currently being investigated.
