The USA has withdrawn from 66 international organizations
In the administration's statement, it says: "Today, President Donald J. Trump signed a presidential memorandum directing the withdrawal of the United States from 66 international organizations that do not align with America's interests."
This memorandum requires all executive departments and agencies to cease participation and funding for 35 organizations not related to the UN, as well as 31 UN entities whose activities contradict the national interests, security, economic well-being, and sovereignty of the United States.
The Trump administration emphasized: "Withdrawing from these organizations will stop funding from American taxpayers and the United States' participation in structures that promote globalist agendas, jeopardizing U.S. priorities, or deal with important issues ineffectively, making it reasonable to reallocate budget funds to other needs."
