Police detained a man suspected of attempting to murder a relative

According to information provided by the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region, a man suspected of attempting to murder his relative has been detained in this area.
The incident occurred on January 7. The duty officer of the Issyk-Ata district police department received a report from the victim, B. K., who stated that he had been stabbed by M. A. The man was urgently hospitalized at the National Surgical Center named after M. M. Mamakeev.

A forensic investigative team was dispatched to the scene, after which the incident was registered at the district police department. According to B. K., around 02:15 in the village of Pervomayskoye, during a conflict, his relative M. A. stabbed him several times with a kitchen knife in the neck, shoulder, chest, and abdomen.

In connection with this, a criminal case was initiated under Articles 37 and 122 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic for "Attempted Murder".

During the investigation, it was revealed that there had been previous conflicts between the suspect and the victim. As a result of operational-search activities, police officers detained 20-year-old M. A., who was placed in a temporary detention facility.

All necessary examinations have been appointed, and the investigation continues to progress.
