Edil Baisalov proposed to reconsider the visa-free regime for US citizens
The Deputy Prime Minister commented on new obstacles for Kyrgyz citizens
In light of the introduction of new visa requirements, Edil Baisalov, the Deputy Prime Minister, believes that Kyrgyzstan should initiate a review of the visa-free regime for U.S. citizens. This statement was made on social media in response to new restrictions for Kyrgyz citizens planning trips to the United States.
According to the new rules, when applying for a visa, citizens of Kyrgyzstan are required to pay a deposit of up to $15,000. It should be noted that the deposit itself does not guarantee the issuance of a visa.
