In 10 Days, Five Drunk Drivers Identified in Panfilov District

In the Panfilov district of the Chui region, 5 drivers were identified as operating vehicles under the influence of alcohol during the first 10 days of January this year, reported the press service of the Traffic Safety Department of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region to a Turmush correspondent.

According to the agency, during the winter period, control measures have been intensified to ensure road safety, and explanatory work is being conducted with drivers.

“However, during the raid activities conducted by inspectors in the Panfilov district, 190 protocols were drawn up against traffic rule violators. In addition, 5 drivers were found to be under the influence of alcohol, and their vehicles were impounded,” the statement said.

The department for ensuring road safety in the district also added that raids are conducted daily, and control over compliance with traffic rules has been strengthened.
