14 Injured in Fire at Nursing Home Hospitalized

As a result of a tragic incident at the Nursing Home, 14 people were taken to the Clinical Emergency Hospital.

According to information provided by the Ministry of Health, 13 of the victims are suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning, while one person has sustained first-degree burns.

Health Minister Kanaybek Dosmambetov visited the patients in the hospital.

The condition of four of them is considered to be of moderate severity, two are in serious condition, while the health of the remaining eight patients is assessed as relatively satisfactory.

“The health condition of the victims is complicated by the presence of comorbidities, as well as carbon monoxide poisoning and combustion products,” the official statement notes.
