The Cabinet plans to increase life expectancy in Kyrgyzstan to 75 years
According to the new decree, the government aims to achieve 85% coverage of mandatory health insurance, as well as increase the average life expectancy to 75 years. Additionally, it is planned to reduce maternal mortality to 22 cases per 100,000 live births.
The Cabinet also set a goal to reduce child mortality to 14 cases per 1,000 children under the age of 5 and to decrease premature deaths from non-communicable diseases, such as cardiovascular diseases, cancer, diabetes, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, by 30%.
In addition, there are plans to increase the coverage of disease prevention services, early intervention, and primary health care to 70% of the population.
