Agricultural Fairs Continue in Kyrgyzstan

Agricultural fairs continue in Kyrgyzstan

Agricultural fairs continue to be held in Kyrgyzstan, organized to support local producers, farmers, and artisans. These trade events, which started last year, will take place according to a set schedule until June 2026. In Bishkek, such fairs are held every Saturday and Sunday.

The organizers, including the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry, and the Bishkek City Hall, have an important goal — to support domestic producers, curb price increases, and ensure the availability of quality food products for socially vulnerable groups. Currently, there is no food shortage in the republic, reserves are at a sufficient level, and the fairs contribute to the stability of the domestic market.

In the capital, the fairs are held at three main locations: T. Usubaliev Square, at the intersection of I. Razzakov and Abdymomunov streets, and on Erkindik Boulevard in the Pervomaisky district. Only those producers whose products meet sanitary and hygienic standards can participate in the fairs. A price offer below the market rate must be established, along with a confirming letter from the district agricultural administration.
