In 2025, 63 new enterprises and 2,700 jobs were created, - Ministry of Agriculture
Among these facilities are trade and logistics centers, as well as enterprises engaged in the processing of grain, fruits, vegetables, and the production of milk, meat, fish, wool, and vegetable oil, including facilities related to organic production.
“As a result of the implementation of these projects, 2,707 jobs were created, contributing to the economic development of the regions, increasing employment, and strengthening the production potential of the country's agro-industrial complex. Additionally, according to data from January to November 2025, the share of the food industry in the total volume of the republic's industry amounted to 17.4%,” the report notes.
According to preliminary data, in the 11 months of 2025, agro-industrial enterprises produced food worth 94.2 billion soms at current prices, with a physical volume index reaching 127.8%.
As part of the Development Program of the Kyrgyz Republic until 2030 and in accordance with the state policy in the agro-industrial complex, it is planned to open 385 processing enterprises, which will allow the processing level to increase to 25%. The volume of investments in this sector will amount to 20.96 billion soms.
For 2026, the opening of 75 agricultural product processing enterprises is planned, with expected investments of 9.1 billion soms. The Ministry will continue its comprehensive work to achieve the established target indicators.
