Plans to merge the prosthetic institution and the Rehabilitation Center for people with disabilities are underway in the KR.
According to the proposals, it is planned to reorganize the Republican institution for prosthetic and orthopedic products, which is under the Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration. It will be joined by the Rehabilitation Center for Persons with Disabilities, after which the newly formed institution will be named the Republican Institution for Prosthetic and Orthopedic Products and Restorative Rehabilitation.
It should be noted that the new institution will be the legal successor of both organizations and will continue to fully perform their functions.
The Ministry of Labor has been tasked with preparing the transfer act and carrying out the re-registration of the new institution. The agency must also adapt its decisions in accordance with the new resolution and reduce the number of administrative and support staff to eliminate duplication of functions.
The Cabinet of Ministers emphasizes that the implementation of this resolution will be carried out within the approved staffing levels and budget allocations provided for in the republican budget, without additional financial infusions.
This draft resolution has been developed in accordance with the presidential decree, which aims to increase efficiency and reduce bureaucratic procedures in the public service system.
