The deadline for considering citizens' appeals is proposed to be reduced to 10 days.

In Kyrgyzstan, a draft law is being discussed that proposes to reduce the response time for citizens' appeals from state institutions from 14 to 10 working days. This project is already available for public discussion.

The document contains a proposal to amend Article 8 of the Law "On the Procedure for Considering Citizens' Appeals," which implies a reduction in the fixed response time for appeals.

As stated in the justification for the draft law, this initiative is prompted by the large-scale digital transformation in the field of public administration. In recent years, government agencies have begun to use electronic document management, implemented automated accounting systems, and established a state electronic document management system (SEDMS). This has significantly accelerated the processes of coordination, registration, and sending of documents, which, in turn, contributes to a quicker response to citizens' requests.

According to the authors of the initiative, the current technical and organizational capabilities of government agencies allow for timely responses to appeals, including requests from citizens abroad. Reducing the processing times for appeals is aimed at increasing trust in state institutions, improving the transparency of their work, and speeding up the provision of services.
