In Kyrgyzstan, there are over five thousand job openings


The highest number of vacancies is related to skilled trades


As of January 1, 2026, there are 5,547 open vacancies in Kyrgyzstan, according to the Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration. Skilled trades are in the highest demand.

The official unemployment rate in the country is 1.3%. There are 56,500 citizens registered with employment services, of which 38,100 are registered as unemployed. Throughout 2025, with the support of employment services, 17,454 people were employed.

Among the open vacancies, 4,251 positions are intended for skilled trades. In particular, the highest number of vacancies is for seamstresses — 1,850, followed by drivers — 1,000, cooks — 420, sales agents — 400, builders — 373, and welders — 150.

Additionally, there are 1,296 vacancies in the service sector, including 350 positions for educators, 320 for medical workers, 151 for cashiers, 150 for accountants, 96 for administrators, 95 for managers, and 185 for interns. There is also a demand for 253 IT specialists.

According to the National Statistical Committee, the highest average salary is observed in the financial sector — 67,121 soms, in industry — 66,990 soms, in transportation — 58,657 soms, and in construction — 57,472 soms. In trade, the average salary is 47,125 soms, in agriculture — 33,462 soms, in the service sector — 29,679 soms, in healthcare and social services — 28,082 soms, in education — 27,054 soms, and in culture — 24,861 soms.
