The Housing Committee approved amendments to the Law "On Public Procurement" in three readings

- During the meeting of the Committee on Finance, Budget, Entrepreneurship, and Competition Development, a draft law "On Amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic on Public Procurement" was presented and approved in three readings.

Minister of Economy and Commerce Bakyt Sydykov reported that the purpose of the draft law is to ensure more effective and rational spending of funds from both the republican and local budgets in the process of public procurement. Important aspects of the proposed changes include the optimization and simplification of public procurement procedures.

The draft law introduces the concept of a state assignment in the context of public procurement, which will allow for addressing key strategic tasks of the state. It is planned that the execution of the state assignment will occur through the conclusion of a civil law contract between the state customer and the contractor.
