According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, snow avalanches are expected in the mountainous regions of Kyrgyzstan and on several highways from March 12 to 15 due to unstable weather conditions.
The most dangerous sections of the roads:
- Bishkek - Osh: 121-138 km (Tоо-Ashuu pass), 198-265 km (Chychkan gorge, Ala-Bel pass);
- Myzrakе - Kara-Kulja - Alayku: 55-115 km;
- Ala-Buka - Kanysh-Kiya: 45-112 km (Chapchyma pass);
- Krasnaya Gorka - Ak-Tash: 0–3 km;
- Bishkek - Naryn - Torugart: 292-305 km (Dolon pass);
- Balikchy - Kazarman - Jalal-Abad: 201-205 km, 260-290 km, and 326-349 km (Kok-Art pass);
- Karakoл - Enilchek: 45-90 km (Chon-Ashuu pass).
