Forecasters inform about dangerous weather conditions that may arise from March 7 to 10 in the mountainous areas of Kyrgyzstan and on key highways: Bishkek - Osh (121-138 km, Too-Ashuu Pass; 198-265 km, Ala-Bel Pass, Chychkan Gorge), Myrza-Ake - Kara-Kuldja - Alayku (55-115 km), Ala-Buka - Kanysh-Kiya (65-75 and 88-101 km, Chapchyma Pass), Krasnaya Gorka - Akhtash (0-3 km), Bishkek - Naryn - Torugart (292-305 km, Dolon Pass), Balikchy - Kazarman - Manas (201-205 km, 260-290 km and 326-349 km, Kok-Art Pass) and Karakol - Enilchek (45-90 km, Chon-Ashuu Pass). Avalanches, snow drifts, ice, and snow cover are predicted in these areas.When passing through avalanche-prone areas, drivers are strongly advised to maintain a distance of at least 500 meters between vehicles.
