
According to information provided by the Hydrometeorological Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, due to precipitation expected on February 12-13, there is a likelihood of avalanches, as well as snow and ice on several roads in the mountainous regions of Kyrgyzstan.
The areas at risk for avalanches include:
- 121–138 km on the Bishkek – Osh route (Tоо-Ashuu pass);
- 198–255 km on the Bishkek – Osh route (Ala-Bel pass, Chychkan gorge);
- 1–14 km on the Suusamyr – Talas – Taraz route (Otmok pass);
- 55–115 km on the Myrza-Ake – Kara-Kulja – Alayku route;
- 45–112 km on the Ala-Buka – Kanysh-Kiya route (Chapchyma pass);
- 0–3 km on the Krasnaya-Gorka – Ak-Tash route;
- 97–98 km on the Sary-Tash – Daroot-Korgon – Karamyk route;
- 292–305 km on the Bishkek – Naryn – Torugart route (Dolon pass);
- 1–14 km on the Aral – Ming-Kush route;
- 326–349 km on the Balikchy – Kazarman – Jalal-Abad route (Kok-Art pass);
- 45–90 km on the Karakol – Enilchek route (Chon-Ashuu pass).
