According to information from Kyrgyzhydromet, avalanches are forecasted in the mountainous areas of the country from February 23 to February 26, and there is also a possibility of ice due to rising air temperatures.

- Bishkek-Osh, 198-265 km (Ala-Bel pass, Chychkan gorge),
- Myrza-Ake-Kara-Kulja-Alaikuu, 55-115 km,
- Ala-Buka-Kanysh-Kyya, 45-112 km (Chapchyma pass),
- Krasnaya-Gorka-Aktash, 0-3 km,
- Sary-Tash-Daroot-Korgon-Karamyk, 97-98 km,
- Bishkek-Naryn-Torugart, 292-305 km (Dolon pass),
- Aral-Ming-Kush, 1-14 km, Aral-Suusamyr, 8-21 km,
- Balikchy-Kazarman-Jalal-Abad, 201-205 km,
- 260-290 km and 326-349 km (Kök-Art pass),
- Karakol-Enilchek, 45-90 km (Chon-Ashuu pass).
Drivers are advised to maintain a safe distance of 500 meters between vehicles when passing through avalanche-prone areas.
