In Kyrgyzstan, there is an increase in maternal mortality in 2025. Health Minister Kanibek Dosmambetov has initiated the development of a set of measures in response to this alarming data, as reported by the Ministry of Health. This year, 48 cases of maternal mortality have been recorded, corresponding to a rate of 34.8 per 100,000 live births. This is 35.4% higher than last year's figures, when 36 cases were registered (25.7 per 100,000).
