Citizens of Kyrgyzstan will be required to pay a visa deposit when obtaining visas to the USA
The administration of Donald Trump has decided to include Kyrgyzstan in the list of countries whose citizens will be required to pay a visa bond when applying for B1/B2 visas. This information is posted on the official website of the U.S. Department of State. These changes will take effect on January 21, 2026, as part of the Visa Bond pilot program aimed at preventing cases of overstaying visas.
