Donald Trump stated that he does not believe in Ukraine's strike on Putin's residence
Trump stated: "I don't believe that happened. Something happened nearby, but it’s not related to an attack." Journalists reminded him that he initially perceived the information about the attack on Putin's residence after a phone call with the Russian leader.
The U.S. president replied: "At that moment, no one knew. I heard about it for the first time. He said his house was attacked. But after checking, we don't believe it really happened."
It is worth noting that Moscow claimed that 91 Ukrainian drones attempted to attack Putin's residence. This information was relayed by Trump during a phone call with Putin on December 29. Later, Trump stated that he was "very angry" and that it was "not the right time." Ukraine denied these accusations, and the CIA reached a similar conclusion after its own investigation.
