The share of servicemen of other nationalities is increasing in the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During today's meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh responsible for international affairs, defense, security, and migration, Deputy Medina Kairylbekova raised the issue of the proportion of servicemen from other nationalities in the army, pointing out the multiethnicity of Kyrgyzstan. A representative of the Ministry of Defense explained that according to current legislation, military service is mandatory for all citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, regardless of their nationality.
