As of today, there are 196 veterans in this district who participated in the Afghan conflict and are receiving compensation from the state. The average amount of payments is about 8,600 soms per month for each veteran.
It is known that during the war, 21 servicemen from the Kadamjai district lost their lives.
According to data from the Kadamjai District Department of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration, three mothers of the heroes are still alive today. They receive constant care: they are regularly visited and given due honors.
Additionally, relevant institutions continue efforts to support both veterans and the families of the deceased.
