Today, February 16, at 13:14 local time, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.5 occurred in China. According to the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, the epicenter was located 34 km south of the village of Bedel, as well as 45 km from the village of Ishtyk and 142 km from the city of Karakol.
Tremors were felt in some settlements of Kyrgyzstan, with an intensity of:
- in the village of Bedel — about 3 points;
- in the village of Ishtyk — about 3 points.
