At the meeting of the permanent commission of the Bishkek City Council on issues of economy, budget, finance, and investments, which took place on February 16, deputy Talaybek Sariev from the "Yntymak" party drew attention to the problem of construction waste disposal by legal entities.

In his speech, he asked the director of the municipal enterprise "Tazalyk," Zholdosh Chushtukov: "You sign contracts with legal entities, such as construction companies and stores. Why doesn't your equipment collect construction waste, asking why there are bricks over there and concrete here? You only collect food waste."
Chushtukov replied that under the signed contracts, the enterprise is obligated to remove only solid household waste. Separate contracts must be arranged for the disposal of construction and industrial waste. He also noted that many enterprises, having a contract for the removal of household waste, put construction waste out on the street.

In response, Sariev countered that we are talking about small volumes: "In extreme cases, it involves five containers under contracts with economic entities. There are only two buckets of construction waste. If there were 50 containers of construction waste, that would be a different matter."
