Today, February 16, the Administrative Court of Bishkek will hear a lawsuit against the Central Election Commission regarding the cancellation of the repeat elections in district No. 13. The decision to hold repeat elections was canceled by the CEC on February 13. This information was confirmed by the Central Election Commission.

It is not specified who exactly filed the lawsuit, but it is known that it is one of the 23 candidates who participated in the repeat voting.

The court session is scheduled for 14:00.

Recall that earlier the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums reviewed its decisions based on the results of the elections in the multi-mandate district No. 13. At the meeting on February 13, the CEC, changing its previous resolution, recognized the elections as valid.

As a result, the deputies became Aibek Altynbekov, Talant Mamytov, and Aigul Karabekova. The voting results of one of the candidates, Baktybek Sydykov, were declared invalid. The resolution on the repeat elections scheduled for March 1 was also canceled.

It is worth noting that on December 3, 2025, the CEC annulled the registration of all 14 candidates in district No. 13 due to violations related to the installation of cameras by observers at polling stations, which violated the secrecy of voting. As a result, repeat elections were scheduled, in which 23 candidates registered.
