The school in the Kara-Kulja district needs major repairs after 70 years of building operation.

At the A. Osmonov General Education School, located in the village of Ylay-Talaa in the Kara-Kuldzhinsky district of the Osh region, it is planned to allocate 5 million 880 thousand 785 soms for the capital repair of the primary school building.

The administration of the Ylay-Talinsky ayil okmotu has submitted a request for funding through a shared (incentive) grant.

According to data from the "Open Budget" portal, the amount allocated from the local budget of the mayor's office for 2025 will be 880 thousand 785 soms, while 5 million soms will be required for the shared (incentive) grant.

Problem Description:

“Our school was opened in 1955. Currently, children in grades 1 to 4 study in the old building. The floors, ceilings, and doors are in terrible condition. The plaster both inside and outside the building is crumbling. If we carry out a capital repair by replacing the floors, doors, replastering the walls, and installing a modern heating system, it will significantly improve the learning conditions. Our children will be able to gain knowledge in modern conditions,” the school shares their concerns.
