The exchange rate of the tenge to the dollar in 2026 is projected to be 535 (macro forecast of the EDB).

- It is expected that the average exchange rate of the Kazakhstani tenge to the US dollar in 2026 will be 535 tenge per dollar. This estimate was announced in the macroeconomic forecast of the Eurasian Development Bank for 2026-2028.

For 2025, the experts of the Eurasian Development Bank predict an exchange rate of 525 tenge per dollar.

According to the bank, the support for the exchange rate will come from the high base interest rate and the fulfillment of the quasi-state sector's obligations to sell half of its export revenues on the domestic market.
