The Audit Chamber will conduct an audit of the enterprise

At a meeting with the workers of the factory and its management, Bakyt Torobaev, Deputy Prime Minister, announced the plans of the Audit Chamber to conduct an audit of the lamp factory in Mailuu-Suu. This meeting took place at the initiative of President Sadyr Japarov.

During the meeting, participants discussed the current state of the enterprise, salary issues, and social problems. The factory workers expressed their concerns about the future. In response, Torobaev noted that the government is preparing a resolution for the payment of salary arrears and is actively seeking investors.

Additionally, it was confirmed that the factory employees will be sent on temporary unpaid leave. Workers who decide to resign will receive payments in accordance with the labor code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

According to the Deputy Chairman, a working group has been established to restore the operation of the factory. An analysis of the possibilities for diversifying production and opening new directions is also being conducted. It has been promised that employees' salaries will be fully paid by January 2026. As part of the audit, the Audit Chamber will also assess the financial, economic, and management activities of the enterprise, as the production of incandescent lamps will be suspended due to their loss of relevance in the global market.

For reference, the Mailuu-Suu lamp factory began its operations in 1964 and currently produces various types of glass containers, including bottles and jars, as well as LED lamps.

Previously, news about the closure of the factory and unpaid leave for workers was announced at a meeting with the Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Jalal-Abad region.
