Retail trade in Kyrgyzstan grew by 25.7% over 11 months, amounting to 679.5 billion soms

As of the end of January–November 2025, the volume of retail trade in Kyrgyzstan, excluding sales of cars and motorcycles, reached 679.5 billion soms. This is 25.7% more compared to the same period in 2024, when this figure was 540.7 billion soms. This data is provided by the country's statistical services.

Trade volume growth is observed in all regions of Kyrgyzstan. The most significant contribution to the overall turnover came from the capital, Bishkek. During January–November 2025, the volume of retail trade in the city increased from 209.3 billion soms in 2024 to 270.1 billion soms.

The Chui region also showed impressive results: turnover here rose from 70.8 billion soms to 103.6 billion soms. In the Osh region, retail trade grew from 47.2 billion soms to 52.6 billion soms. In the city of Osh, the figure increased from 52.3 billion soms to 57.5 billion soms.

Positive dynamics are also observed in other regions of the country. In the Jalal-Abad region, the volume of trade increased from 99.3 billion soms to 124.4 billion soms, in the Issyk-Kul region — from 21.6 billion soms to 25.3 billion soms. The Talas region rose from 18.3 billion soms to 21.9 billion soms, the Naryn region — from 9.8 billion soms to 10.7 billion soms, and the Batken region — from 12.0 billion soms to 13.6 billion soms.
