This certificate was required for the exchange of indefinite driver's licenses.
Starting January 19, the medical certificate in form 083 will be removed from the "Tunduk" system. This was announced by Kanaybek Tumanbaev, who holds the position of head of the presidential administration.
During his inspection of the State Center for Vehicle Registration and Driver Licensing, where the exchange of driver's licenses takes place, the official emphasized the importance of this change.
Tumanbaev had previously mentioned that this certificate would not be required for the exchange of indefinite driver's licenses.
At a meeting with citizens, he explained the necessity of exchanging documents: old driver's licenses do not have a digital format and are not recognized in some neighboring countries; moreover, they have insufficient security features. In this regard, the authorities of Kyrgyzstan decided to carry out this initiative.
According to Tumanbaev, the new licenses will be equipped with enhanced security features and will simplify the work of road safety officials.
“Previously, the certificate in form 083 was automatically requested in the "Tunduk" system. From January 19, this requirement will be lifted, allowing Kyrgyz citizens to process the exchange of driver's licenses online,” he emphasized.
For citizens whose licenses are not displayed in the "Tunduk" system, Tumanbaev recommended visiting in person to replace the documents.
