Form 083 certificate will not be required when exchanging indefinite driver's licenses

The head of the president's office, Kanibek Tumanbaev, announced during a live broadcast that a medical certificate form 083 is no longer required for the replacement of indefinite driver's licenses.

From January 15 to February 15, citizens will be able to exchange their indefinite driver's licenses completely free of charge, and there will be no need to undergo a medical examination.

“Recently, we have received numerous questions regarding the queues for the certificate form 083. I want to clarify: it is only needed when initially obtaining a driver's license. This certificate is not required when exchanging an indefinite license,” Tumanbaev noted.
To obtain a new driver's license, it is only necessary to provide a valid document.
In addition, the head of the president's office noted that the request for certificate form 083 is still ongoing in the "Tündük" system, but this issue is already being addressed. The requirement for its provision will be canceled starting January 15.
