New York Post: The USA Used Directed Energy Weapons in the Capture of Maduro

According to information published in the New York Post, the capture of Maduro was carried out by commandos who used a powerful secret weapon. One of the soldiers guarding the president described how this device affected his comrades: "There were many of us, but we couldn't do anything. At some point, they activated something. I can't exactly describe what it was, but the feeling was like a strong sound wave. My head was literally exploding, and we all started bleeding. Some even began to vomit blood. We fell to the ground and couldn't move. After the effect of this sound weapon, we just couldn't get up," the witness's words are quoted by the publication.

The newspaper reports that the White House has not yet commented on whether President's press secretary Caroline Levitt confirms the witness's statements. Earlier, the Venezuelan Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that more than 100 Venezuelan military personnel died as a result of the operation by U.S. troops.

An expert contacted by the newspaper noted that the military has long possessed technologies using directed energy, such as microwaves or laser beams. He also mentioned that in 2020, Chinese forces used microwave weapons against Indian soldiers in Ladakh. However, in his opinion, if the eyewitness's information is accurate, this would be the first case of such weapons being used by the U.S. military.
