American military could use new weapon in Venezuela - media

During the operation to capture Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, American military forces, according to The New York Post, used an unknown powerful weapon. This information was provided by a security officer of the Venezuelan leader.

According to his words, local security forces were on high alert, but suddenly all radar systems went down without any explanation. Soon after, numerous drones began to operate over their positions.

According to the guard, helicopters appeared in the operation zone — "about eight," which, in his estimation, delivered around 20 American soldiers. He also noted that these servicemen had weapons that surpassed traditional firearms in power.

“There were many of us, but we had no chance. They fired with such speed and accuracy that it seemed like each soldier was firing 300 rounds per minute,” his statement is quoted in the article.

Additionally, the informant for The New York Post mentioned the use of an unknown weapon, which he described as “a very powerful sound wave.” He reported that after this, Venezuelan servicemen began to experience bleeding, a sharp deterioration in condition, and loss of mobility.

“We all had blood coming from our noses, some were vomiting blood. We fell to the ground and couldn’t move. After the use of this sound weapon, we couldn’t even stand up,” the guard added.

The publication also reminds that, according to the Venezuelan Ministry of Internal Affairs, about 100 security personnel were killed as a result of the attack on January 3. However, there has been no official confirmation of this information from U.S. authorities or independent sources.
